Delivery Manager, Maritime Tech (Remote across Europe)
Location: remote, with business travel, in Europe
Our client is an established European technology company operating in the maritime technology sector, delivering mission-critical solutions to ports, terminals, and logistics operators across international markets. The company plays a key role in enabling efficient and reliable operations within global supply chains, working with long-term B2B clients in highly demanding environments.
With deep domain expertise and a strong presence in Europe, the company operates at the intersection of product development and tailored client solutions. Over time, many delivery processes have evolved organically, leading to a lack of standardisation across clients and internal teams.
They are now looking for a Client-Facing Delivery Manager who will help bring structure into delivery, strengthen collaboration between clients and engineering teams, and improve how services are delivered across multiple accounts in a mission-critical maritime context.
This is a highly impactful role with a high level of ownership, where you will work directly with clients in the maritime domain, influence delivery practices, and help shape the company’s future operating model.
Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for key B2B clients in the maritime and logistics sector, building long-term relationships and managing expectations
Understand client business needs (e.g. port operations, terminal workflows, logistics processes) and translate them into clear requirements for development teams
Drive end-to-end delivery of software solutions used in mission-critical environments, ensuring alignment between client expectations and technical execution
Collaborate closely with engineering teams, supporting prioritisation, planning, and execution
Identify gaps in current processes and proactively introduce improvements and best practices across delivery
Establish and standardise delivery processes, documentation, and ways of working across multiple clients
Bring consistency to areas such as SLA models, support approaches, and billing logic
Contribute to account growth by identifying opportunities for upsell, service expansion, and long-term client development
Take ownership of delivery performance for assigned accounts, including budget and P&L responsibility
Act as a bridge between business and technology in a domain where reliability, predictability, and clear communication are critical
Requirements
Proven experience in a client-facing delivery, project, or program management role within a B2B environment
Experience working with mission-critical systems or industries (e.g. maritime, logistics, supply chain, automotive, or similar)
Strong track record of managing long-term client relationships and complex stakeholder environments
Experience collaborating closely with software development teams
Ability to translate business needs into structured delivery plans and actionable tasks
Experience improving or building processes, especially in environments lacking structure
High level of ownership and accountability, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Strong communication skills and ability to operate in complex, international environments
Experience with budgets, scope management, or commercial aspects of delivery
Nice to Have
Background in maritime, port operations, shipping, or logistics technology
Experience in consulting, outsourcing, or product companies delivering custom client solutions
