Head of International Sales
Location: Remote, in Europe, with regular business travel
Our client is an established financial technology provider delivering banking infrastructure solutions to regulated financial institutions. The company operates in highly compliance-driven environments and serves banks requiring secure, scalable, and fully deployable systems aligned with local regulatory frameworks.
We are seeking a Head of International Sales to drive expansion across selected international markets. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in enterprise software and/or banking infrastructure sales, with proven experience closing complex technology deals with banks and regulated financial institutions.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder — someone comfortable owning the international sales function end-to-end, leading long enterprise sales cycles, and establishing structured market entry across multiple regions.
What You Will Do
Lead international business development for complex banking and financial infrastructure solutions
Build and execute structured go-to-market strategies in new territories
Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and closing
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes (6–18+ months) involving technical, legal, compliance, and procurement teams
Navigate formal RFPs, regulatory procurement environments, and vendor qualification processes
Structure high-value software licensing and infrastructure deals
Develop strategic partnerships (system integrators, local partners, advisory firms) to accelerate market entry
Work closely with CEO, product, and delivery teams during technical validation and commercial negotiations
Build and manage a disciplined enterprise pipeline and forecasting process
Who You Are
Experience in enterprise B2B sales within enterprise software, core banking, fintech infrastructure, payments systems, cloud, cybersecurity, or other mission-critical technology
Proven track record of closing high-value software or infrastructure deals with banks or regulated financial institutions
Strong understanding of complex technology sales involving architecture discussions, compliance, and integration topics
Experienced in long sales cycles and multi-layer decision-making environments
Able to operate as a standalone international sales leader while building structure and process
Experienced in cross-border deal execution and international expansion
