Head of Operations
Location: Tallinn, Estonia (Onsite / Hybrid)
Our client is a mission-critical B2B SaaS company in the logistics and maritime ecosystem, serving enterprise customers across Northern Europe. The business operates in a high-availability environment where reliability, execution discipline, and operational clarity are essential.
The company is entering a transformation phase focused on strengthening execution, stabilising operations, and building a scalable operating model. To support this next stage, we are hiring a Head of Operations to take end-to-end ownership of operational performance and execution.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex environments, improving reliability, and building operating systems that last.
Responsibilities
Take full ownership of day-to-day operations, execution discipline, and delivery reliability
Stabilise cash flow, margins, and operational performance in close partnership with Finance
Reduce firefighting by introducing clear ownership, processes, and escalation paths
Design and implement a pragmatic operating model across delivery, support, and change requests
Install a clear operating cadence (weekly/monthly) with strong execution follow-through
Align Product, Delivery, Support, and Finance around shared priorities and clear interfaces
Lead teams through change, raising the execution bar while keeping operations practical and usable
Act as a calm, accountable leader during high-pressure situations or customer escalations
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of experience in operations, delivery, or COO / Head of Operations–type roles
Strong background in B2B SaaS or tech-enabled services
Proven experience stabilising or transforming under-structured organisations
Comfortable operating in complex, high-availability or customer-critical environments
Experience in PE-backed, post-acquisition, or transformation contexts is a strong plus
Pragmatic system builder: you design processes that people actually use
Calm under pressure, structured in ambiguity, and comfortable making tough calls
Collaborative leadership style with high standards and strong ownership mindset
