Portfolio Growth Lead
Location: Remote, Europe
Our client is a privately owned investment group with a diversified portfolio of B2B technology and services businesses across Europe. The Group focuses on long-term value creation through disciplined execution, sustainable organic growth, and strong operational foundations.
We are looking for a Portfolio Growth Lead to work closely with the Group CEO and portfolio company CEOs to accelerate profitable organic growth across existing portfolio companies.
This is a highly execution-driven role, focused on translating growth opportunities into concrete initiatives, implementing practical systems and processes, and ensuring consistent follow-through across multiple businesses.
Responsibilities
Partner with portfolio company CEOs to identify, prioritise, and execute organic growth initiatives across pricing, monetisation, sales effectiveness, retention, and expansion.
Translate growth opportunities into clear initiatives with owners, timelines, KPIs, and success criteria — and drive them to completion.
Design and implement practical processes and operating rhythms that support repeatable, scalable growth execution.
Ensure new processes, systems, and tools are adopted, used, and sustained over time.
Establish performance dashboards and reporting frameworks to track progress against agreed growth objectives.
Identify execution bottlenecks and systemic issues limiting growth or margins, and drive resolution in collaboration with leadership teams.
Monitor budget execution related to growth initiatives and highlight misalignment between spend, priorities, and outcomes.
Act as a trusted execution partner to CEOs, raising the bar on delivery quality and accountability across the portfolio.
Requirements
5–10 years of experience in growth, operations, or commercial roles within B2B software or technology-enabled businesses.
Proven track record of driving measurable organic revenue growth through hands-on execution, not just strategy.
Strong understanding of pricing, unit economics, and margin-aware growth levers.
Demonstrated experience implementing processes or systems that remained in active use over time.
Ability to operate effectively with senior leaders and influence without formal authority.
Strong analytical and financial skills, including KPI definition and performance tracking.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and cloud-based productivity tools.
Working knowledge of AI tools and their practical application in growth and operations.
Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
