Head of Business Growth (Maritime B2B SaaS)
Location: Riga, Remote
We are looking for a dynamic leader to drive the expansion of a fast-growing B2B SaaS provider for the maritime industry. The company delivers software solutions that simplify operations for shipping lines, port authorities, terminals, and agents. Already established across multiple European markets, the company seeks a Head of Growth to spearhead its entry into the Nordic and Baltic regions, renowned for digital maritime innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement market entry strategies for the Nordics and Baltics.
Forge strategic partnerships with shipping lines, port operators, terminals, and maritime tech hubs.
Drive enterprise sales, pipeline development, and regional adoption.
Tailor solutions to local compliance, regulations, and operational needs.
Manage demand generation, lead conversion, and account growth.
Monitor KPIs, report outcomes, and optimize commercial strategies.
Represent the company at maritime events, forums, and innovation conferences.
Recruit and lead a regional commercial team as expansion progresses.
Requirements:
7+ years in business development, sales, or growth leadership in B2B SaaS.
Proven experience closing enterprise deals (€25k+) with complex sales cycles.
Knowledge of maritime logistics, port operations, or government digital initiatives.
Familiarity with market entry or regional expansion in European Nordic/Baltic markets.
Strong negotiation, stakeholder, and partnership-building skills.
Fluent English; knowledge of a Nordic or Baltic language is advantageous.
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
Open to frequent travel across Nordic and Baltic markets to manage partnerships, deployments, and events.
